Birds of Malaysia (Pt. 2)

This is my drawing of a Crimson Sunbird..it has bright red colour on top, can be seen all over South-east Asia (S.E.A). You can see this bird most likely in the forest edges and cultivation area. They feed on nectar and such a petite, beautiful bird..I've also included the real image of it so that you can see the vibrant colours of the bird..Love the colour on its forehead!

The photographic image of this bird was taken from a calendar (2009) produced by Sabah Tourism Board. You may also go to for more information on Sabah.

I find you site so very interesting. I love how along side your sketches you put information. I think I'll take that one on as well. That is a very cute bird, and your sketch is exact!!
